WOLF
World On-line Festival (WOLF) is an award-winning technology company, a North East startup founded in Newcastle as Palringo in 2006. The business has a history of innovation, creating the first chat messaging application on Apple’s App Store in 2008.
Finding product-market fit in the Middle East and North Africa region, in 2020, the app again broke new ground by adding audio stages for community-generated content and conversation, relaunching under the name WOLF. WOLF has welcomed more than three million Middle Eastern consumers since then, generating $150 in monthly revenue per spending user, who engage live for 1-2 hours per day on average.
Innovation continues with virtual reality, an artificial intelligence virtual assistant and a unique means of rendering 2D audio as cinematic 3D video. More big, exciting tech firsts will follow. The technology team is based in Cramlington, Northumberland.
