One Utility Bill

One Utility Bill was established in 2014 by CEO Chris Dawson and CTO Dale Knight – it bundles multi utilities into one monthly payment for renters. Chris found out firsthand how stressful it could be to organise bills for student house shares and got to work creating a solution to make bills as easy as they should be.

The Company is now one of the leading tech companies in the North East. It started with two employees (Chris and Dale) in 2014, and now employs more than 120 people who support more than 23,000 customers across the country. One Utility Bill generated £5.1m in revenue in 2022, almost double that of the previous year!
