This half-day facilitation workshop has been designed for people who attend or run meetings, leaders, managers, people responsible for change within an organisation and team builders. The workshop will be informative, fun and highly interactive with lots of practical tips and techniques for improving leadership skills, building confidence, asserting yourself, building consensus & creativity, conflict resolution and using the experience and knowledge of participants to improve collaboration. Preparation and Breaking the Ice: simple (but effective) planning techniques, setting objectives Encouraging Participation: a successful meeting should be inclusive, energetic and dynamic — but well managed. So how do you get everyone involved? How to assert yourself, introduce some great involvement tips, discuss how to manage silence and how to manage those people who can’t stop talking! Meeting Facilitation Skills: techniques for keeping meetings on track, encouraging creativity, managing chattering and private discussions, leading the discussion, setting ground rules and reviewing at regular stages. Managing Conflict: identifying and addressing conflict, staying neutral, highlighting positives and building consensus in the group. Ending the Meeting: it’s always good to end meetings on a positive note.
